After college, I wasn’t sure what to do with my life. My grandparents in Michigan needed help at their home, even though they didn’t admit it. So I moved there and came up with excuses every day when I showed up! Somehow, that uneasy arrangement lasted four years. That time with my grandparents was profound and foundational for me.
